Your information should be handled with care.
This policy explains what Home Hub BD collects, why it is needed, who may receive it and the choices available to you. It applies to the Home Hub BD website, customer and operational accounts, service bookings, product orders, Entrepreneur Market and support channels.
Effective and last updated: 16 September 2026
1. Who is responsible
Home Hub BD is responsible for deciding how information submitted through its platform is used for its operations. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@homehubbd.com.
2. Information we may collect
- Identity and contact details, such as name, email address and phone number.
- Account and role information for customers, workers, sellers, coordinators and administrators.
- Service and order information, including job descriptions, preferred schedules, delivery or service addresses, order items and status history.
- Photos, receipts, verification documents or other files that you deliberately upload.
- Payment, refund and payout records, such as method, amount, status and transaction reference. Do not submit full card numbers through support forms.
- Support enquiries, complaints, reviews and communications with Home Hub BD.
- Basic technical and first-party analytics information, such as page path, page type, device category, language, referral host and randomly generated visitor/session identifiers. Analytics is skipped when the browser sends Do Not Track.
3. How information is used
- Create and secure accounts and provide role-appropriate access.
- Process bookings, assign or coordinate workers, fulfil orders and arrange delivery.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, payment records, returns, refunds, commissions and payouts.
- Respond to questions, complaints and support requests.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate activity and unauthorised access; maintain audit and operational records.
- Understand service usage and improve reliability, accessibility and customer experience.
5. Storage, retention and security
Information may be processed or stored in Bangladesh or in other countries where contracted technology providers operate. Home Hub BD uses access controls, authentication, encrypted connections, restricted operational roles, audit records and backup procedures to reduce risk. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain transaction and audit history, meet accounting or legal needs, prevent fraud and resolve complaints or disputes. Different records may require different retention periods.
6. Browser storage and analytics
The website uses browser local or session storage for language preference, shopping cart, authentication state and randomly generated first-party analytics identifiers. Clearing browser data may remove these preferences, sign-in state or locally stored cart information.
7. Your choices and requests
You may ask Home Hub BD to explain, access or correct personal information connected with you, or request deletion where appropriate. Some transaction, safety, accounting, complaint, fraud-prevention or audit records may need to be retained even after account access is removed. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers or unnecessary identity documents through the contact form.
8. Children
The platform is not designed for children to create operational accounts or submit bookings, seller applications or worker applications without involvement from a parent or lawful guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information improperly.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when services, providers, security controls or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised when a new version is published. Material changes may also be highlighted through the website or account notices.
